Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 29, 2026. Mission Water LLC ("Mission Water," "we," "us," or "our") operates missionwaterco.com and provides water treatment products and services to residents of Orange County and the Inland Empire, California.

This document is provided for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney. If you have questions about how these Terms apply to your situation, please consult your own legal counsel.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this Site, requesting a quote, or entering into a service or installation agreement with Mission Water, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. About Us & Our Services

Mission Water is a family-owned water treatment company serving Orange County and the Inland Empire. We provide salt-based water softening, whole-home filtration, and tankless reverse osmosis with alkaline remineralization, along with related consultation, installation, and service work.

3. Use of This Site

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, copy or scrape its content for commercial use, or misrepresent your identity when requesting a quote or contacting us.

4. Quotes, Estimates & Pricing

Quotes provided through the Site, by phone, or during an in-home visit are estimates based on the information available at the time and are subject to change following an on-site inspection. Final pricing is confirmed in a written proposal or agreement before work begins. We do not charge hidden fees beyond what is disclosed in that written agreement.

5. Your California Right to Cancel

If you sign a contract with us at your home, or at a location other than our regular place of business, in connection with an in-home sales visit, California law (Civil Code §§ 1689.5–1689.14) gives you the right to cancel that contract without penalty or obligation until midnight of the third business day after you sign it. To cancel, deliver a signed and dated written notice of cancellation to us using the contact information in Section 19, or the address on your contract, before that deadline. We will provide a separate Notice of Cancellation form with any in-home contract as required by law. This right does not apply to quotes obtained through the Site or by phone that are not signed at your home, nor to service calls you request without a prior in-home sales visit.

6. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive text messages from Mission Water, you agree to the following:

7. Installation & Service

Installation and service appointments are scheduled based on availability and site access. You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the work area, including clear access to water lines, electrical, and drainage as applicable. Additional charges may apply for conditions discovered on-site that were not reasonably visible during the initial estimate, such as outdated plumbing or code-required upgrades, and any such charges will be disclosed to you before we proceed.

8. Payment Terms

Payment terms, including any deposit, will be set out in your written agreement. Balances are due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to the terms described in your agreement.

9. Warranty

Our equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty, and our workmanship is covered under the warranty terms provided in your written agreement at the time of installation. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, failure to perform recommended maintenance, or normal wear of consumable parts such as filters and salt.

10. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in a written warranty provided at installation, our products and services are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some of these disclaimers may not apply to consumer transactions in California. Under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, implied warranties on consumer goods cannot be disclaimed where an express written warranty is given, and any implied warranty is limited in duration to that express warranty (not less than 60 days). Nothing in these Terms reduces any warranty right guaranteed to California consumers under Song-Beverly or other applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mission Water's total liability arising out of or related to our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mission Water harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, and logos, is owned by Mission Water or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.

14. Third-Party Links

This Site may link to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to venue there. If you are a California consumer, you may also have rights under the Consumers Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code § 1750 et seq.). Venue for any CLRA claim lies, at your election, in the county where you reside, where the transaction occurred, or where we maintain a place of business or executed the contract. Nothing in these Terms waives any non-waivable right you have under the CLRA.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time for conduct that violates these Terms. Termination of Site access does not affect the terms of any separate installation or service agreement already in place.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of that information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 18. We are preparing a dedicated Privacy Policy detailing our full data practices, which will be posted on this Site.

19. Contact Us

Questions about these Terms, or requests related to cancellation or your privacy rights, can be sent to us through the contact information on our Contact page.
